My name is tanner I am a southern Utah local and owner and operator of Tanners wake boat rentals since starting in spring of 2021. i am 26 years old and married to the love of my life I spend my free time surfing, skating, snowboarding and progressing my career as a professional surfer for Quicksilver, chris ruddy surfboards, MB boats, and Land locked surf crew.
I love being able to share the stoke that comes from surfing I have spent a lot of time in the water surfing all over southern California and Hawaii but the there’s always something special about being in the southern Utah desert oasis and being able to surf these perfect little waves.
With friends of family boating has always been one of the best activities to bring everyone together and has something to offer for everyone with tubing, surfing, wakeboarding, swimming, or just listening to good music on the boat its hard to not have a good time while on the water. we are so grateful to be able to provide lifetime memories and new experiences for everyone.
We are extremely passionate about what we do and aim to provide a comfortable rad environment for all ages and skill levels to enjoy and progress in water sports. We have taught thousands of people over the years how to surf or wakeboard for their first time and nothing beats the surprised look on their face when all of the sudden they are standing up and surfing. with the right tips we are very confident that anyone in your crew willing to try will succeed.

We like to keep things simple by offering an experienced local captain who knows the ins and outs of the local lakes, can properly and safely operate the boat, has a knowledge of watersports and will help you with all your needs. We strive to offer the best boating experience and service and want to make boating more accesible to people without boats!

“Legit fun. Easiest day of boating we ever had. We showed up got on boat and when we were done took us to dock and we walked to our car. I was a little hesitant about having a captain come along but he is way chill and we never felt like we couldn't be ourselves. Plus super nice to have someone who knows how to drive boat well and give pointers on activities. When is St. George and we want to boat this is the only way I will do it unless I finally get a boat of my own.”
